Spicy Mayonnaise Oven Baked Fish - Proudly Indian

Ingredients

  • 1 kg fish
  •  2 onions
  •  2 tomatoes
  •  1 green pepper
  •  2 tbsp lemon juice
  •  2 tbsp chilli powder
  •  10 ml crushed garlic
  •  50 ml mayonnaise
  •  5 ml arid
  •  salt and pepper to taste
  •  10 ml Cooking oil
  •  Dhania
  •  1 green chilli

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180
  2. Liquidise 1 onion, one tomato and ½ green pepper. Place lemon juice, chili powder, garlic, mayo, arid, curry leaves and salt and pepper into a pot
  3. Add liquidised mixture and cook until mixture thickens
  4. Set aside to cool
  5. Marinate fish in cooked mixture for 1 hour. Place in greased casserole and bake for 10-15mins covered with foil
  6. Meanwhile, slice tomato, onion and green pepper
  7. Cover fish with sliced vegetables
  8. Place in the oven for a further 10-15min.

Cook till done.
Garnish with dhania and whole green chillies.
